Guided Garden Tour

Guided Palace Tour
The Palace in the Grand Garden is a true gem of early-Baroque architecture. During your visit, you will explore the reconstructed ground floor with its original sandstone sculptures and the upper floor which was destroyed in 1945.

Explore the extensive Grand Garden on a comfortable Dresden Park Railway ride. From the Palace Pond, you will walk to the Palace at the heart of the Garden.

Further Topical Tours
The Treasure of Sculptures in the Grand Garden
In the 17th and 18th centuries, up to 1,500 sculptures adorned the Grand Garden. During that tour, still today 22 figures, vases and statues of of the Baroque treasure of sculptures can be admired.
Inns and Restaurants from the Past and Present in the Grand Garden
In the 19th century, the outer areas of the – until then strictly Baroque – Grand Garden were redesigned into a Romanticist landscape park and opened to the general public. In that time, also up to eight inns were opened, of which five are operated today again. Hear about the stories from that Romantic time.
